A testing run coming up including games against Eastleigh, Bristol R and Barnet. Makes these games against the lower teams even more important. Team news anyone?

No Nielson in the 16. But he was there warming up with the squad apparently.

Is Brown injured?

Well we've really set our stall out and are taking the game to them. Not. More like playing it tight, and hoping something turns up. Few mistakes creeping in.
Throw in some hapless officiating. Inspiring stuff.

Has Hurst got the nous and the balls to change it at half time to make it more offensive? Change the 4-4-2 or swap a player or two?

Midfield has been rubbish. Main tactic so far seems to be lumping it up from defence and praying Palmer can flick it on to someone. It's not working at all, Disley and Clay have been barely involved. Hurst needs to be more adventurous here. Magnay first half motm by miles. Officials are shite too.

Oh good, we can play for a draw now.

Come on Town, don't sink back on defence, go for the jugular.

Great noise from the Faithful!

Let's go for the jugular!

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Its madness that we don't have a proper third centre back pushing for a starting place, that should be our main january priority not looking for an 18th striker, but I bet we go without getting one then have to get an emergency one in

Soon be time to get a bit twitchy as JT takes us in to the last five minutes or so

Every time they get the ball it'll no doubt sound as if we're about to capitulate and they are going to snatch something

Think we need the second to calm his and everyone else's nerves!

Like I say, our main replacement for him is pretty much a coach now, pearson and toto are shoe ins for the first team, or perhaps in the mind of the player possibly lacking in confidence right now for whatever reason, forced to be in the first team

Yes I agree, originally I guess Parslow and Magnay would have been stand ins but due to the full backs situation (not that I know anything about Aswad or indeed why Bignot is never considered), we do need another defender.

Can't complain at 2-0. Pleased for Hannah, it would be interesting to see him play alongside Palmer for a full game.

Great to see Hannah on the score sheet, will hopefully give him some much needed confidence.

My mate reckoned if you'd gone Chelsea, Man City and Southampton to lose, that worked out about 1500/1. Didn't check it myself. I was let down by Luton and Wolves failing to win.

Palmer and Hannah - strike force for Eastleigh - what's wrong with that? Lucky to 'ave 'em, since the other alternatives appear to currently be injured.
Bit of a challenge on Tuesday - Eastleigh being fresh and likely full strength. A resilient Town needs to turn up.
