So disappointing after a bright and dominant start, to be fair to Hurst he selected the right starting line up, created plenty and the front two linked up well by the sound of it but just wasted the chances, Hurst cant really be blamed for that can he? (unless of course we track back to the lack of signing a goal scoring striker)
In game management again though leaves a lot to be desired, although hindsight is a marvellous thing, Neilson and Hannah completely ineffective lost us all momentum.

what a load of rubbish this side is....

the players who consistently fail to turn up should be shipped out (Nielsen/Hannah/Brown/Nsiala) annd shipped out now

Hurst couldnt motivate a bunch of schoolkids, more points dropped against Part Time Opposition, bottom of the flipping table opposition as well

truly embarrassing, and time for change

The worst side in living memory, and the worst side ever

I'd disagree, I'd say this is one of the best sides we've had in the last 10 years, both attitude and talent wise but we are so inconsistent and can't seem to get the best out of the players. The buck stops with the manager on this.

The problem was the number of chances missed not getting that hair standing striker will cost us automatic promotion.  We should have been out of site before they scored a worldy.  No good blaming every tom male private un harry.

If you were a striker, would you play for a negative team like us?

Yeah we could never beat a team in 3rd 3-1 at home and Barnet would never drop points at Telford.........

Barnet dropping points at Telford is not an acceptable excuse. There's a reason why Telford are languishing at the bottom of the league on 13 points - if we have aspirations of winning the league we have to win games like this. Barnet have more than made up for their blip in the same fixture by ensuring it was nothing more than a blip. Town on the other hand seem to be consistently dropping points to lower placed teams (through poor tactics, substitutions & performances).

That hairs and all that striker will hopefully be signed in January to take us through the playoffs and up. No need to panic.

Not quite the right question as my answer would be bias towards town   but yes i would and if i was a top scorer clubs would come calling and gaining promotion would be a bonus especially if you become a fans favourite.  However thats just my view and only those that have turned us down can answer your question properly.

It's not an excuse and it's clearly a disappointing result. It does undermine the idea that it highlights the difference between us and Barnet. Nobody has any consistency at the moment including Barnet. The only reason they're clear is they were consistent for the first couple of months of the season. We can still catch them but we need to up our level and maintain it fast. It'll be a missed opportunity if we don't go up this season as there's so little between us and the teams around us.

We could really of done with a win today, well at leat we didn't lose, Barnet now 7 points ahead so even if we beat them twice we would still be behind them.

Really need to learn quickly to be able put these type of games to bed early doors.

Grimsby and proud!
