I don't understand how booing helps the team?

It doesn't, but also clapping them off at the end if they lost seems to be bad also, according to some guy who slammed me for it yesterday!

It's almost as if he was irritated about being booed off after a first defeat in nine league games with us second in the table.

Very rare I boo the team but I did at full time yesterday. It wasn't good enough.

I had a choice yesterday, match or gloss the skirtings, I chose the skirtings, sounds like I made the right choice.
And I watched it dry

We weren't good enough yesterday, but form of won 5 drawn 1 lost 1 is fine for me and we sit in a cracking position. Getting your knickers in a twist about his interview is pointless.

Nothing personal Ronnie but how anyone can clap the team off after a performance like that deserves slamming. I hate hearing boos ring round and i noticed Aswad having verbals with some random in the ponny who told him to " stick to playing on the right " .
We all have the right to do what we want but i would honestly like to hear what makes you applaud the lads off after that? I'm not saying it's right or wrong it's obvs each to their own but i am intrigued matey.

It focuses their minds as to the overall opinion of the paid audience at that particular time, just as cheering does when they are playing well, as grown men it will do them no harm and should in effect drive them on to do better.

As for Hurst to complain about it diverts the attention away from his set up at home where he must accept some responsibility for the defeat, as he would for the wins
