Wouldn't it be better to spend the cash on combating that easily treatable and curable disease instead? Haemorragic fevers may be a bit more cool, but in terms of body count, they are at nothing like the same level.

Oil prices were zooming sky high... now the Isis situation / Palestine Israel... Ukraine/Russia is happening... Oil prices have plummeted .......   anyone  explain this to me ??? Economies such as China  are not wanting as much as expected due to weaker growth. Oil companies need it to be approx $100 per barrel to sustain growth for new oil fields. The low price is unfortunately temporary will probably start rising early Dec. yes I am a sad tw@t

The Yanks have been extracting masses of shale oil and shale gas and the Canadians are producing no end of the stuff from their tar sands as well. Completely flipping the environment up, but there you go. With the Chinese on the brink of severe economic problems, it wouldn't surprise me to see the oil prices stay lower for a while. Good for us, not so good for the environment.
