As much as I would want to see him play every game and be as outstanding throughout every game to the end of this season, is it worth resting him tomorrrow, rather than risk a long lay off for league games ??

He really seemed to have been a main lynchpin anywhere in the back four this season - can't afford for him not to be playing for a long spell !

A lot depends on the state of his injury and how he himself feels. However, there may be a case for giving him a rest from this one and hope a few more days will have him raring to go for next Tuesday.
