Hurst says "it's a big game" and "we've got to create us own atmosphere".

I would seriously consider rolling out the cavalry playing as many of the big guns as possible...

..........................McKeown
Magnay......Nsiala.......Pearson....Thomas
......v............Clay..........Pell.............v
Pittman.............Neilson..............Arnold
.........\.............John-Lewis............/

Subs: Bignot, Disley, Paddy, Mackreth, Hannah.

Judging by their impressive home form, Braintree could be very tough anyway so arguably there's little to lose.
We could go there, try to secure a point and still end up losing anyway.

Would I risk 1 point for 3 in our quest for automatic promotion ? You bet I would !
I really struggle to imagine 1 lost point will be the difference between reaching the playoffs (or not) with so many games left to play.
So I say "let's go for it !" (with one eye on defence), see how we fare and re-assess...
Let's remember - 1 away win in 3 games = 3 away draws.

Let's try to rip Braintree a new @rsehole.

UTM.

I think swap disley for neilson and mackreth for pittman and thats PH starting 11.

I was there, the day Bradley Wood scored a 35 yarder!

From the black and white striped shirts
To the fish in the sea
You'll hear us singing
Coz we are Grimsby.

You won't hear us crying
But you'll hear us shout
Coz we are the Grimsby
And this is our chant.......... Grimsby! Grimsby! Grimsby!

Personally i would go for the same team as we had for Dartford, don't see any reason for any personal to be dropped and the XI is definitely capable of winning at Braintree.

Well when would you suggest Neilson and Pittman (2 of our best players) return ?
After we suffer a defeat ? The FA Trophy ?!
Or should PH stick them on the "available for loan/transfer" list while they twiddle their thumbs ?

It's a squad game...
You didn't see anyone complaining after Pell and Arnold replaced Hannah and Neilson v Dartford !

Of course we should play for the win and I'm quite sure that PH will stick with the same team that started against Dartford (and rightly so).

I wouldn't be so sure !
I can only assume you must have missed some of his comments in the Dartford post match interview where he said if he thought it was best to change the side for the good of the team/club then that's what he'd do (or words to that effect).
And rightly so !

No because recently neither had been doing the business.

No brainer!  We go for the win, if we win we go 2nd if we draw we go 5th, we have to keep within distance of Barnet, we have a game in hand over them and tonight we must close that gap and keep the pressure on.

A win tonight would set us up lovely for Saturday too with confidence high and sitting 2nd in the league.

We can do this!

Grimsby and proud!
