How many players have we seen so far this season who would get into our first team. I can only think of Ajala from Torquay. I suppose we haven't seen Barnet yet but still. Any other suggestions?

If you didn't know what you know already, (and ignoring the fact that anyone can play well once) Brodie would be on the list!

Oh, and that Williams bloke at Aldershot.

All the Torquay team

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

You could just as easily ask the fans of Southport, Altrincham and others if they fancied any of our players in their teams as on their forums they were quite dismissive of us.

That Clayton bloke from Alfreton looked good on TV,

BUT

I bet he does not play like that most weeks.

30 goals in 7 years proves that point.

Bit like Power at Lincoln. Ask him if he can put in the effort like he does against Town on Boxing Day, but every week.

Luke Young of Torquay and Harry Beautyman either one of them would boost our midfield. Paul Clayton played well the other night that was his first game in 8 i think. I remember watching Jack Mackreth play for Macclesfield and he was awesome that night hoping to see some performances for us this season.

If there aren't many players out there better than what we've got, it suggests the manager's not very good when it actually comes to deploying his team on the pitch.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

So if he has scored 30+ we do not want him,

BUT

If the 100+ is right, sign him up Hursty.

Clayton and Hearn destroyed the Blue Square North, the season before Liam came to us. Don't think Clayton has been that great since he lost Liam as a strike partner.

Still managed 17 2 years ago though. I'm guessing Soccerbase isn't reliable on stuff below Conference level.
