Hopefully it's Cheltenham/Bristol and not Kiddy/Welling - can't see a team in the same league loaning a decent striker at this level, could be likely that a fringe striker at Cheltenham or Bristol is getting a game in the JPT.

Either way doesn't matter who we bring in, playing one up front is never going to produce a lot of goals unless we find an absolute gem.


Hopefully his car breaks down on the way and he doesnt get the chance to waste the remaining budget and its still there for the new manager any time soon.

If we can find out which game it is, and knowing hursts track record with goalscorers , I'd be tempted to put a few quid on it being a 0-0 draw!

Sligo Rovers are playing on Friday night. Their last game of the season is on 24th October (it appears). Danny North seems to be playing and therefore match fit. Seems like an opportunity to get him back to Grimsby and playing for us. His scoring record is pretty good.
