If we want to get promotion we should do what Fleetwood , Crawley and Luton did,

But guess what !  some guy called  Fred die Fender  sang it ,perhaps thats where the mix up with that Reeves fella on the OP comes in to it.

As said further up the thread, Reeves has his own successful plastering business.

He had a trial at Doncaster a few years back (I actually think he's from that way on, or definitely is based there) and was hoping for a contract but I seem to recall they couldn't agree terms, such was his high demands.

If he's part-time and has a successful business, I can't say I'd blame him for asking for at least parity with what he earns as a combination from both.

Well out of our budget.
