Montel Gibson (alright, not technically an ex player) scores 2 for Stourbridge as they hammer, erm, Tividale 4-2 in the Birmingham Senior Cup.

Must be nice for him as recently he was described by their fans as a player who never looks like scoring.

Siriki Dembele scores the winner for Peterborough in their 2-1 win at Hull. Josh Magennis scored Hull's goal.

Christ, that's damning considering the level Stourbridge play at. A three year contract for Gibson is almost as bad as Serge Makofo.

It's the cream on top of an absolutely bizarre season, even if he was working for peanuts we could have just offered him a year to prove himself instead of throwing him 3 years. Hurst must have thrown a fit after seeing him and finding out he has a 3 year deal. To be fair he has netted a couple of times but we are talking a couple in August when the season started then none until this month, he should be scoring for fun at that level. He didn't even look comfortable in a game against even lower opposition where he scored twice, walked around looking uninterested until the ball found him in the box. He also missed a couple of easy chances before scoring a shot that would probably be comfortably saved by a keeper at this level. His second goal just deflected off him too after ping ponging around from a shot.

I don't think I've seen a player more incapable of kicking a ball and we saw shop make some howlers on TV.

I'd say it's much worse than Makoko (who at least worked hard AND scored the winner in an FA Cup game against a side a division above; and he only got 2 and a half years).
