Nice little club Swindon Supermarine. Long story but I went to see a game there once and when they knew where I had come from they looked after me during the game really well.

Gave me a free programme and I got a free pint before the game and (as they play 7 miles outside of Swindon) a lift back there (from their Chairman) to my B&B

It's amazing what lengths the smaller Non-League clubs go to when it comes to accomodating fans and guests.

I'm guessing without looking they have something to do with the old Supermarine aviation company?

Half of the club! Swindon Supermarine were formed when Supermarine FC (who were the club associated with the aviation company) merged with Swindon Athletic FC in 1992. (Swindon Athletic were known as Penhill FC until the 1988/89 season).
