Hoban has found his level:

https://www.independent.ie/spo.....ations-37390090.html

Hoban missed a chunk of pre-season due to a thigh injury and took some time to find his match fitness in the opening fixtures of the 2018 campaign.

However, he bagged a brace in the 8-0 drubbing at home to Limerick at the end of February, and hasn’t looked back since. 21 goals in 25 league games mean he’s the most prolific finisher in the top flight by some distance this term, and the player himself believes he has become a much more rounded footballer at the age 26.

Andy Monkhouse (38 this month) signed a 1 year contract with Whitby Town.  They lost at home to Hyde United last month (Sep 1.  Hyde are near the bottom of the table.

Monkhouse was good in the first half, but very poor in the second half.  Cue the headline in the Whitby Gazette:

Monkhouse gave a Jekyll and Hyde performance.

(In other news,Yussuf scored a last minute winner  in NL - not sure who for.

Maybe in the old days of england I could see it but if theres not injuries to stones and maguire I think the policy tends to be to have younger players with an eye on the future in the squad which is a policy I respect but good look to ryan on that nonetheless

Monkhouse is also involved/coaching with Rotherham United's academy.
