Would have to be gullit.

Difficult to say best town player, depending on 'your' own era and we all have faves, not necessarily the best though. Town wise, it has to be Clive.

Best goal on the other hand is deffo muzzy izzet. What a goal.

Charlie Nicholas a good shout, for the perfomance as well, although i wasn't there.

I was totally gutted his goals beat us that day, so I'll have to say him.
What a game it was though - I seem to remember Town played well.

That spring to mind, best town players I've seen; super Clive, Paul groves, Dave Gilbert. Best opposition; Gary lineker and Ruud Gullit.

Special mentions to sirs Paul of Futcher and Garry of Birtles. With a sweet cameo from Ivano.

If Newport win it b4 heir vist to BP, I will sit in The Osmond dressed as Little Bo-Peep for the match against them!

Probably the only game that Town have lost that I actually enjoyed. His 2 free kicks were amazing.

Whymark oozed class, shame we didn't see more of him. For away players I'd say Tony Curry for QPR in the early 80's. Ageing but he ran the middle of the park.

I can remember back in 1999 Andy Campbell murdering us for Sheffield United.  I think he got 2 but could have had four or five at the end of the day.  I think that was probably the best individual display I've seen at bp.  Although I've only following town since the Wembley days I'd probably say that the best players I've seen play for town were Alan Nielsen and Paul Groves.  Keeping us up that day against Fulham will stay with me forever.
