Gary Brabin has signed a two year contract with Luton Town. He'd only been on a short-term deal since replacing Richard Money.
Fleetwood may be splashing the cash but they'll do well to top Luton.

What makes you say that...??? They have been topped the last two seasons when people thought they would romp it, so what is so different next season to make them more capable...???

I took it that he meant Gary Brabin was the difference?

Yeah maybe you're right, but let's be fair he's hardly set the world alight since taking over though has he...???

Well I agree. But it seems Rokerite thnks he can/will.
My feeling is that they will finish lower next season, but still be a play-off side.

You're right that Luton Town have been favourites in their previous two seasons at this level, I just think that it'll be third time lucky for them. The season kicks off eleven weeks tomorrow I believe, so it's a bit early to be predicting; but that isn't going to stop me.
1st Luton Town,
2nd Mansfield Town,
3rd Grimsby Town,
4th Fleetwood Town,
5th Darlington,
6th Newport County,
7th Kidderminster Harriers.
8th York City.
Ofcourse, I reserve the right to alter these predictions several times, even before the second saturday in August, and will do so no doubt; but that's my forecast on 27th May, 2011.
Fear not Marinette, no ante-post betting will be made, involving Grimsby Town or any other team.

Celtic Under-19 captain MATTHEW HUGHES is on verge of signing for Fleetwood Town

Sounds an exciting prospect. This is the sort of player we need to be looking at BP.
Celtic paid 100k for him as a 16 year old

If I was at Fleetwood I would be quite keen to know why his potential went from £100k Scots Premier to BSP in 3 years.

Didn't have a go at the Rangers 1st team and probably homesick so no surprise.

not a good idea for Celtic players to be "having a go" at Rangers first team. They are in enough trouble for that already.
