Having looked at all the pictures on this thread and the away day sticky it strikes me that these two have to be the worst away ends I've seen in some while.

Stamford Bridge, v Chesea away, Dec 1983.   The illegitimate IRA murdered some people in Harrods that very day, so extra security searches etc which meant horrible queues getting in, but the facilities were just awful there in pre-Oligarch days.  Open terrace, no catering, no loos that day (maybe security-related) and foul foul wet weather.  The tube station was an overcrowded nightmare too, with gangs of Chelsea thugs lurking -- they had a nasty set in the days when their locals could afford to watch them.


But we won 2 - 3.  Yay.
