Just arrived back from a bussiness trip down country, and caught the news of this thread ,well done all involved, I certainly hope Pete is well and recovers soon. as I enjoy reading his thread,  and look forward to more of them soon

Perhaps we've all learnt something from this.  I know I have. When Pete's first post appeared I just assumed that he had some form of illness that was incurable and that he knew his time had come. I had forgotten him telling us about his depression it was only when some of the others began to rally round that I relised that we could do something though what I hadn't a clue particularly as Pete had logged off. It was only when the younger energetic ones among us who are far more competant with computers started working it through that it became clear that something positive could be done.
I have never met Pete but as we are of an age he became a mate on here as we both had similar memories and experiances and I shall always remember the lengths some folks went to to help him
