and i've just thought of another one - gazza playing for burnley at bp and the whole crowd giving him an ovation half way through the match when he was trying to take a corner at the ponny end.that gave me a lump in my throat

going to Birmingham winning 1-0 David Smith scored winner but if i remember we never had shot on target , his was deflected in.


The boss told me to put it in the corner.....i thought he meant the top corner.

Hunt had a strop after being subbed after 20 minutes, I don't think he was a sub.

He threw his armband down hilariously, IIRC.

Yes, he did that and then I had a tantrum on here about it...how dare he blah blah...I forgave him eventually though.

But there was one player who was brought on as sub and then taken off again...it was at an away game...if it wasn't Hunt, I can't remember who it would have been.  But AB was definitely the substituter.  Could it have been at Accrington or somewhere like that?

seem to remember Big Keith come on as sub at Rochdale away... only to be subbed again.. we won 1 - 0... Diddy I think....
