Brilliant gesture. I know a lot of money has been pledged and suggestions of a ST for the lad made etc., but how about we ask his family if they would like to nominate a charity of their choice to donate to instead of a ST which he may or may not want. There is likely to be a Meningitis charity that already has a Justgiving or Paypal account so we need not go through that rigmarole. Bear in mind the mascot day WILL BE GIVEN to him by this company. They might be very appreciative of a season ticket or two (harvey and his dad) Personnally i think a donation to harvey would be better. Lets face it hes been through it all already and deserves to be treated. I think that will stick with him alot more than a donation made to charity in his honour.

I think it's great that a company are doing this, do we know if it has anything to do with the fishy? I prefer to put money towards a season ticket because he would benefit from it for several reasons and any extra money generated can go towards a meningitus chairty. Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it. Jesus’ disciple Peter, picked up a fish to get the tribute money from it, Jesus left his thumb print on the fish, bless'ed is the Haddock.
