Lincoln....Jan 1970 lost 2-0

The worst thing about it was getting on a coach from Brighowgate bus station and having some old bloke sitting alongside me smoking a pipe

I was sick about us losing but not as sick as I was from having him next to me!

donny away around 1980

Funny you say that, Donny away in Oct 79' was one of my first games watching City. Sir Gordon of Hobson scored the winner in a 1-0 morning kick off victory, in front of 9,693 (of which 3k+ were Imps).

1st ever away game (if you're interested?) was Mansfield away Apr 75' we lost 1-3 in front of 14,392 at Field Mill.

Was living down south at the time, so the firs "away" game was the Wimbledon cup game - actually got to meet Bobby Gould in the ticket office when we went to get our tickets.

When I moved back to Town, I think was Bolton away when we went 1-0 up, 3-1 down and then scored twice in the last 10 minutes to draw 3-3.

West Brom think it was 95 ish.  We lost 3-1 think Forrester scored.  Was sat in one of the home stands with my parents.  I thought they were gonna disown me when I celebrated our goal!

Remember it well you travelled with some dodgy people that day!

I think mine would have been April 1972. 1-1 draw at Bury to clinch promotion. Clive Wiggington scored?[/quote

Remember that well Laurie Mac would not let us have a drink after the game even though we had got promotion.
Talk about Capello, the England players today should have met the Big fella
