I doubt Madkins would have kept us up with the poor side Newell left us. No dedicated wingers, a forward playing at right back, several players not turning up for training, turning up late for training, turning drunk up for training. Also we were miles behind other teams in terms of fitness, team spirit, ideas and many other factors for us being so crap. Bringing in players who haven't played for ages or ones who haven't much experience has also been part of the problem too but when you are in a downward spirral the better players avoid clubs either going down or going nowhere.

Another manager might have come in and saved us from the drop but we would still be stuck in this cycle of bringing in loans, failures from other teams and players after an easy pay check. The core problems have been raised by Woods and now it's up to him to build his team without the bad iunfluences in the dressing room.

I wouldn't expect you to understand that because all you do is sit on here and take a cheap shot every now and then. Maybe you feel it's time to cast your line and bait someone into an argument with you for a bit of mammary for tat. Fenty if it has escaped you attention has sacked two managers a season for the last 3 seasons. We have paid a record number of players off and let others go on a free to join other clubs. Newell sign dross players and gave good contracts to lazy, unfit losers.

When woods took over Fenty asked him to write down all the players names who he wanted rid of, who wasn't good enough. Everybody on that list has now been released, paid off or given a free to join another club.
