I am sure many of the older posters will have known Graeme who sadly passed away last week aged 51, he was the chairman of the old supporters club for many years , played for the supporters club football team and was a well known local Plumber and Campaign for Real Ale activist.....RIP Graeme, condolences to your family.

Blimey, really shocked by this. First Big Keef and now Wally. I knew him very well going back to the years of the old GTFC Supporters Sunday Footy team and when the Mariners Supporters club was down Kent St, where The Yardbirds club is now. I was also in the GTFC Supporters pool team with him too. The last time I saw him was at Bournemouth last season when I found him wandering around the streets looking for a real ale pub and we went for a pre-match drink together before the game.

RIP mate, another one gone far, far too young.

So sad to hear yet more bad news.  I also played with Wally for the supporters club many years ago with Our late Bernard Morley.  RIP Wally. a A true Mariner!!

tragic news really good lad was wally ... will be sadly missed town thru & thru ..  great loss he was someone who put 100% into everthing he did .. be it  chairman of the supporters club  camra .. and more recently his blue`s of the month club  ... condolances to his family   as  les said much to young

Absolutely tragic news.

Graeme also ran the Blues Of the Month Club for many years.

He was a warm, friendly genuine person.

He will be sadly missed.

Sorry Jungle missed your comment about the blues of the month....

When the Blues of the Month Club restarted at the Queens, I remember the spontaneous round of applause Graeme (Wally) received, it really suprised him.
