Piers Cook, who went to Toll Bar and was a big Town fan, recently passed away after suffering with cancer for the last year. He was 42 and had three young children, plus two step children.

Very sad news Rob, I guess you knew him pretty well as if I remember right you lived fairly close. Pass on my respects and sympathy. Trev.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

I knew Piers  and liked him ,  he occasionally played for New Waltham in the Sunday League a few years ago when I was there. This has come as a bit of a shock. My thoughts are with his family. He was a great bloke.
