I was there too and if it was 73/74,then i would have been 15.Sure i saw them there when i was older.Did they do more than one gig?

The one I saw, and maybe the same one as you, was 1976. Don't think they did more than one gig, maybe they came as Family. Makes you wonder were all those fans went!

I somewhat pride myself on my memory but freely admit you have got me doubting myself now. It could have been 76. According to Wikki they only formed "late 73". Definitely don't remember them playing more than one gig at the W.G.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

76 sounds more like it to me.I left school in 75 and doubt i would have been going to the WG before that.I have a terrible memory though. All i do know is i definitely saw Roger Chapman at some point.

Well not wanting to drag this on too much, but I went with a guy who had his leg in plaster and I can relate that to him playing cricket, or rather not playing cricket in 1976 because of that. I can remember that but I can never remember where I put my glasses!!

anyone got the new manic street preachers album yet?? Very Old School manics.......worth a listen!!

But mainly agree with anyone who mentions Oasis, Stone Roses, Arctic monkeys, Charlatans, The Strokes (is this it), ...and the Bluetones debut album was a corker!!
Beatles - Rubber Soul, manics - everything must go, ...........i could go on...courteeners album is good also!!!

Gary Moore is one of the most influential artists of all time? Gary Moore wasn't even the most influential member of Thin Lizzy! As a solo artist he is derivative and unimaginative. If you want to hear great new blues give Joe Bonamassa a listen.
