I would back up Manc Mariner on Neon Neon and would add anything by Super Furry Animals - Radiator is a cracker to start with as is Guerilla. Would also recommend:

Arcade Fire - Funeral
Richard Hawley - Coles Corner
Teenage Fanclub - anything you can get
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
Doves - Lost Souls
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - Barafundle
The Rapture - Pieces of the people we love

Good call on Radiator, the best from a very good catalogue from the super furries, I've been caning neon bible by arcade fire recetly too, whilst I do like Funeral I think Neon bible does not have one weak track, one of my favorite live bands too.

I love both the Arcade Fire albums, just that Funeral is in the current loop. Would agree about them live as well. I saw them at Leeds festival a few years ago and they were amazing. New Super Furries album due shortly. Can't wait.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

They are all good.

Easy listening I admit. But you do find yourself singing along when they come on the Radio.

Best live band I ever seen live has to be Queen.

Enjoyed Oasis/Radiohead/Killers  but for sheer entertainment you couldn't beat Freddie Mercury.

Also (for the oldies) The Jam, 4 concerts and every one top top line.
