Yay I got the 400th post on this thread too, this thread is madness!!!!

Yeh a teacher group sounds like a good idea, as long as others don't feel left out...

I hope I don't have a problem keeping up though, i've got a lot of training to put in this next month!

seems good way ill send that to the police tomorrow.
The ending wud mean we dont end up at sincil bank, so we shall change it so we go on to the high street and straight down, all the way down to south park corner and then cycling up to fire station into sincil bank?/?

hang on i'm encoding still for google earth so people can view it as if they were actually doing it and i'll try and get it to sincil bank (i have used their postcode!)

right here is a a route direct to sincil bank - not via the high street - it won't let us as its not a through road

plus the police won't want 20 odd bikers going down lincoln highstreet during peak shopping.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?.....14,1.417236&z=10

i have just encoded the route for google earth - no small task it has taken hours!!!!

so if you have google earth or if you don't the FREE link is below

http://earth.google.com/

open this file:

http://www.mediafire.com/?1jbwmgjtgtm

click play and you can fly like a bird on a 3d satelite route of the ride

EVEN better - you can enter flight sim mode and fly around in either a prop place or an f16!!!  you gotta love technology!

just seen the route....them hills at Louth roundabout are massive...stuffing hell

dont feel tooo bad this morning despite first ride yesterday ...bike in repair shop  should have back by Thurs

loads of things keep going through my mind ...silly stuff really
are we taking spare clothes to change into  or will we sit and watch match in sweaty stuff
do we take off the Fishy t shirts  when out of town then put them back on again as we enter Lincoln so we look presentable  or do we just have new tshirts to put on

in the back of the transit will there be any one  doing repairs while a spare bike is used....ie puntures  snapped cables

will there be anyway of fixing buckets to side of car/van for passing motorist to chuck change in

20 odd riders  can you get  20 bikes in a transit

<*(((><

Town have given me some of my highest highs and my lowest lows ........ God it is like a marriage

The t-shirt question is up to everyone's own choice.
Weve had 4-5 volunteers asking to go in the support veichles so sure can sort them doing repairs.
It might be a good idea for us to take clothes to get changed into, i know i will be.
As for passing cars, im sure there will be something we could do.
We have so far been offered two transits so im sure well be ok.

i'll watch the route in a minute never got round to it last night at 2am lol!

as for the clothing:

you get cold on a bike! there will be times when i'll want to show off the t-shirt but as soon as i get into the ride then i'm likely to have my waterproof on to keep the wind off.

i will need a change of clothes because i can't walk around in my SPD shoes and i'm not walking into SB in my cucling shorts - they make it look like i'm wearing a nappy!!!!

Right i've been asked to list the sponsors by Jon, so far i have:

Tesco
Asda
Wilkinson
Ready Rent A Van

is there anymore so far as i need to PM these to meanwood mariner to put on the site.
