Trump basically declares war on Iran   (reply) Posted by: Marinerz93

Define better.

I'll give you a few to mull over as there are different ways of leading a better life.

Long-term tracking by the Pew Research Center or General Social Survey, frequently show a "happiness gap" where conservatives report higher levels of mental well-being than those on the left.

By 'better,' I mean a life focused on gratitude, personal responsibility, and building things up, rather than a life viewed through the lens of grievance, victim hood, and wanting to tear things down.

A 'better' life isn't just about material success; it's about a healthier psychological framework. When you don't spend your days carrying the weight of systemic misery ...

You are aware of which country invaded the other, right? All that is required for the war to end is for the Russians to intercourse off back home. The warmongering little gnome in this story is your mate, Putin.

You're an absolute imbecile of a vatnik. Beyond parody.

Speed around the field and passing accuracy went wrong yesterday, whereas in the previous 2 games, chances lost would have easily got us 6 ooints.

30 + Chances in both of those games and only 2 scored.

How many potential tap ins have gone begging with passes too hard, or not near enough to the striker running in?

When both Vernam and Green are not on form and with 2 matches without Turi and Shelton in midfield, the depth is being seriously tested.

The back 4 are all suspect when tippy tapping around the box, but do need midfield runners to show, so long hoofs are not the only option.

The whole team looked a yard slower than Vale who set their game plan at fast harassing and 2 swift wing...

Maldini Headed Clearance   (reply) Posted by: IowaMariner

Made the ESPN sports play of the day in the US. Gobsmacked when Maldini popped up on top of the ten shown. Tend not to see an English 4th tier footie highlight getting such an accolade. Get in!

As well as Pym has done that is surely Maldini - who also has save of the season so far...

Think you are right he's been superb . Just admire the way Pym has defied everyone really . I didn't think he would play for us again when he was listed tbh . Might be a stretch but on current form is he one of the best keepers in the league ?

No, you’re making a statement.

For all DA’s man management skills I think both he and the supporters got this one horribly wrong

How has he mismanaged him? He’s back in the first team and playing superbly. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m talking about last season. I’m asking a question

For all DA’s man management skills I think both he and the supporters got this one horribly wrong . He was impeccable up to the barrow game , then came the onslaught. I suppose the manager should have protected him more ? I don’t know tbh it’s a funny old game , as has been said ……

Think he's having a good season so far , yesterday he was motm by a mile for me . I ain't seein any better keepers really in this league yet .

He's player of the season for me so far .

He took a battering last time and we all thought he was a goner , maybe he still will be .

But just a shout out for him really he's done good .

Not convinced it's a formation problem. Too many are out of form so it wouldn't  matter what formation you played. Moving the League 2 right back of the season to centre back doesn't make sense when yesterday he looked like he had divers boots on. Give him a rest and give Foulkes a run. Love him like I do Greeny has been ineffective in the last three games so ditto.
Go 442 and have two strikers up top for me.

How much longer after missing out on the playoffs on the final day or 24/25 and then losing in them in 25/26 do we have to be patient for? I get that 1878 and Artell are relatively new at the club and this isn't solely on them but the owners (JS and AP especially, as Town fans) should know that we have been patient. It's okay for Artell to say be patient as he's here for a snapshot of Town history. He'll be gone at some point but we'll still be here watching our team lose 4-1 at Accrington in back to back seasons, watching Hartlepool stick 8 past us on a Friday, watching other clubs come up from the NL league after us and leap frog us into League 1. I've been patient but after two decades of watching L2 and NL football and bei

The long ball to Cook or Green is a good alternative option for us to beat a press, but yesterday it felt like it was all we had and Vale were ready for that. Think Artell was right in that we were too far apart when trying to pass through them and they kept winning it back..Like the look of this 3 5 2 formation on paper but might be difficult to implement as we are so used to playing a certain way. Worth a try if we keep losing and as with the first seaosn Artell is not afraid to change things... ....Vernham was a threat yesterday but hasn''t been playing as well this year and the new young'uns are take a bit longer to settle in...UTM

We have to move away from our current formation which consists of booting the ball upfield to Cook and hoping we get a knock on, it worked when we had Kabia in the team but not now, all that happens and was shown constantly yesterday was the ball is headed back into midfield and we lost possession. I’m surprised Artell has continued with this style of play and thought he had more tactical ability than the dross we were treated to yesterday. UTM

That's what we did at the start of the season when we were very good. The difference is that the last 2 games we haven't won any second balls high up. We then played good football in the opposition third, which has also gone missing for 3 hours.

Either te...

I don’t buy that we’ve got an uncompetitive budget, not by a long stretch. We had two players in yesterday’s squad that we paid 6-figure fees for in the summer, then you’ve got McJannet, Kacurri, Turi, Doyle and Pruti who all commanded fees. Rodgers, Vernam, Green, Turi, Tharme, Staunton and Gardner have all had contract extensions on (you’d imagine) better terms. And that’s not even counting the money we’ve paid for players in the past few seasons.

Artell’s been backed by record season ticket sales, the highest number in the club’s history, record shirt sales, commercial income up the wazoo, sponsors on 3 of the 4 stands, sponsors on the shirt front, back, sleeves & shorts, a different sponsor o
