I didn't keep up with last years, but will do this time.

Feel free ladies and gentlemen to chip in with any official transfers including loan players in League Two and I'll update it on a daily basis. I guess someone will do a released/retained list in another post.

Accrington Stanley have signed Kelsey Mooney (forward) on a two-year deal from Boston United.  The 25-year-old striker scored 16 times for the Pilgrims this season, as they won promotion back to the National League via the play-offs. Mooney whose father is [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Mooney]Tommy Mooney[/url] is a product of Aston Villa's youth system and spent four months on loan at Cheltenham Town in 2018/19 - before permanent moves to Hereford, Scunthorpe United, and Leamington.

Bradford City have signed Antoni Sarcevic (midfielder) on a two-year deal. The 32-year-old has achieved no less than five promotions from the fourth tier throughout his career, including at each of his last three clubs: Stockport, Bolton Wanderers and Plymouth Argyle. Sarcevic scored eight goals in 37 appearances for Stockport County last season as they won the League Two title.

Bradford City have signed Neill Byrne (centre-back) for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal from Stockport County.  The 31-year-old, 6ft 2ins Irishman began his professional career at Nottingham Forest in 2011. He joined Rochdale in 2012, before successful spells in non league with Telford United, Macclesfield Town, Gateshead, Fylde and Halifax Town. A season each with Hartlepool United and Tranmere Rovers in League Two followed, before Byrne made the switch to Stockport in the summer of 2022. He made 43 appearances over two seasons for County, including 22 in 2023/24 as they went up as champions - the second promotion of his career.

Carlisle United have signed Aaron Hayden (centre-back) on a two-year deal following his departure from Wrexham. Hayden made 73 appearances for Carlisle over two seasons before joining the Welsh club in 2021. The 27-year-old scored 20 goals in 88 games for Wrexham and was part of the team that won back-to-back promotions from the National League to League One.

Chesterfield have signed Kane Drummond (forward) on a one-year deal. The 23-year-old was with Liverpool as a youngster before joining the Robbie Fowler Academy. He was signed by Macclesfield from Warrington Rylands in November 2022 and scored 19 goals in the season just finished in the 7th tier Northern Premier League

Chesterfield have signed Paddy Madden (forward) on a two-year deal following the expiry of his contract at Stockport County. The 34-year-old has made over 650 career appearances to date and lifted the League Two title in the season just finished, scoring 22 goals during the campaign. Madden has played for a number of clubs including Fleetwood Town, Scunthorpe United and Carlisle United.

Doncaster Rovers have signed Joe Sbarra (midfielder) on a two-year deal with the option of a further year year. The 25-year-old playmaker scored 36 goals in 149 appearances for Solihull, including in both the semi-final and final of the National League play-offs as Moors missed out on promotion to the EFL on penalties.
Sbarra rose to prominence in the 2021/22 campaign when he netted 18 goals in 48 appearances as Solihull again reached the play-off final only to be beaten in extra time by Grimsby Town. He came through the ranks at Burton Albion and made 70 appearances, including 18 in the Championship, prior to his permanent switch to Solihull in 2020.

Wimbledon have signed Matty Stevens (forward) on a two-year deal following his release from Forest Green Rovers. The 26-year-old scored 50 goals in 133 matches for the Gloucestershire club, including 27 in their 2021-22 League Two title-winning season. Stevens began his senior career at Barnet before moving to Peterborough United in 2016 and then on to Forest Green three years later.

Added the ones mentioned in the previous posts to the original post, plus some others.

Accrington Stanley have signed Michael Kelly (goalkeeper) on a two-year deal from MK Dons.  The 27-year-old began his senior career at Shamrock Rovers, before permanent moves in Ireland to Cabinteely, Longford Town, Bohemians, Bray Wanderers, and signed for Carlisle in July 2022.  Kelly joined MK Dons eight months ago, then played a total of 20 times for the club in 2023/24, helping Mike Williamson's side finish fourth and qualify for the Sky Bet League Two Play-Offs.

Accrington Stanley have signed Tyler Walton (winger) on a two-year deal from Southport.  The 25-year-old is a product of York City's youth system and made his senior Minstermen debut as a 17-year-old on Sat. 10th September 2016 - before spells in non-league at Frickley Athletic and Farsley Celtic. A move to Southport followed, where he was named as the club's Media Player of the Year for 22/23 and '24.

Chesterfield have signed Tim Akinola (defensive midfielder) on a one-year deal with the option from MK Dons.  The 23-year-old started his professional career with Arsenal and loan spells at Dundee United and then Chesterfield during the 2022/23 season.  During his time in North Derbyshire, Akinola made 31 appearances as the Blues reached the National League promotion final. He left Arsenal at the end of that season before joining Al Bidda in the Qatari Second Division.

Port Vale have signed Ronan Curtis (winger) a three-year deal with the option from Wimbledon after his contract ran out. The 28-year-old  scored five goals in 17 appearances for AFC Wimbledon after joining in January.  The Republic of Ireland international joined League One side Portsmouth in 2018 making 226 appearances for Pompey, scoring 57 goals and creating 42 assists across five seasons in all competitions; becoming their leading goalscorer of the 21st century and third-highest goalscorer in the club’s history, prior to his move to Wimbledon.

Salford City have signed Robbie Cleary (forward) a three-year deal with the option from Sigma FC in the Canadian 2nd tier, where he scored 2 goals in 18 games. The 21-year-old Canadian is subject to EFL, FA and FIFA formalities, and his registration will be submitted when the transfer window officially opens.

I think Clarke is a good manager and it really looked like he was going to keep Cheltenham up, against all odds.  

But that is an underwhelming appointment for Barnsley.

Gillingham have signed Elliott Nevitt (forward) from Crewe Alexandra on a free transfer.  The 27-year-old, who was top scorer at Crewe Alexandra last season, has turned down a new deal at the Mornflake Stadium to move to Kent. In 2023/24 the forward netted 18 times in 52 appearances in all competitions and played in Sunday's Sky Bet League 2 Play-Off Final where Crewe were beaten by Crawley Town. He began his career in non-league and played for Buscough and the City of Liverpool before making his professional debut for Tranmere Rovers in an EFL Cup tie away to Oldham. He scored on his first outing in a 2-2 draw. A further seven goals followed during the 2021/22 season, and he scored a further six early the following season before joining Crewe for an undisclosed fee in January of 2023.

Milton Keynes have signed Connor Lemonheigh-Evans (midfielder) from Stockport County on a free transfer.  The 27-year-old helped Stockport to promotion as League Two champions this season, with six goals in 24 appearances. His campaign with the Hatters was split between a loan stint with AFC Wimbledon, where he scored three goals in 17 games.

Notts County have signed Matty Platt (midfielder) on a two-year contract. The 26-year-old joins on a free transfer having decided to end a two-year spell at Bradford City, for whom he has been a consistently strong performer and near-ever present figure over the last two seasons, after three years at Barrow, who he helped win promotion back to the Football League Two in 2020.

Doncaster Rovers have signed Jordan Gibson (winger) from Carlisle following his release by Carlisle United.  The 26-year-old spent the previous three years with Carlisle United, scoring 20 goals in 143 appearances, where he won promotion from League Two via the play-offs in 2023. Gibson came through Rangers' youth ranks and previously had stints with Bradford as well as St Patrick's and Sligo in Ireland.

Bradford City have signed Callum Johnson (right back) on a one-year deal. The 27-year-old, who operates mainly at right-back, but also in the centre of defence and midfield, arrives at the University of Bradford Stadium for the 2024/25 campaign following the expiry of his contract at Mansfield Town.  A product of Middlesbrough’s academy, Johnson first made his name at Accrington Stanley where, initially on loan, he went on to make 119 appearances over the course of four seasons, helping Stanley achieve promotion from League Two in 2018 and making 45 appearances the following season. The summer of 2020 saw him move to Portsmouth where he made 40 League One appearances in the 2020/21 campaign.

Grimsby Town have signed Tyrell Warren (left back/right back/centre back) from Barrow on a two-year deal following expiry of his contract at AFC Barrow.  In two years with Barrow, he played in 61 League and Cup fixtures, featuring 18 times last season when he scored twice in League Two finshing 4th in the table. Warren has played left back, central defence and right midfield as well his natural position of right-back.The 25-year-old is a graduate of Manchester United's academy. Warren joined Salford City U21’s before spells on loan at Radcliffe and Boston United before joining Halifax in the National League  where he made 44 appearances in all competitions in the 2021–2022 season.

The 24-year-old is  product of Crewe Alexandra academy, Offord has represented the Railwaymen for the past seven years of his senior career. Bradford City have signed Aden Baldwin (centre back) on an initial two-year deal following the expiry of his contract at Notts County. The 26-year-old, a product of Forest Green Rovers’ academy, Baldwin signed his first professional contract at The New Lawn in 2015 before earning a move to Sky Bet Championship side Bristol City in 2016. Loan spells followed at Weston-super-Mare, Cheltenham Town and Eastleigh before he spent the 2021/22 season at MK Dons. He signed for the Magpies in June 2022, spending two seasons at Meadow Lane, making 79 appearances. Barrow have signed Katia Kouyate (forward) on a three-year deal, following the expiration of his contract with Everton.  The 20-year-old signed for The Toffees at the age of eight and he made his way to youth ranks at Goodison Park. He made appearances for the first team during their latest pre-season tour and even bagged a goal against Swiss side, Stade Nyonnias during a 2-1 win for Everton. In the past two seasons, Kouyate has become a regular name on the Everton u21s team sheet, and he has tallied up eight appearances in the EFL Trophy over the past few seasons.

The 32-year-old started his career with Crewe Alexandra before going on to play for Hednesford Town, Kidderminster Harriers, Oxford United, Wigan Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday, before joining Shrewsbury in 2022. Notably, Dunkley spent two years at Oxford, making 78 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals in his time there, helping them secure promotion to League One at the end of the 2016/17 season. He played 43 league games, scoring 7 goals for Wigan in 2017–18, being promoted as champions from League One.

Carlisle United have signed Terell Thomas (centre back) on a two-year deal after his contract expired at Charlton. The 28-year-old started his career at Arsenal before signing his first professional contract at Charlton Athletic as a teenager. Thomas went on to play for the likes of Wigan Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Crewe Alexandra and Reading before returning to The Valley in 2022. He made 40 League One appearances for Charlton last season and has also featured 12 times on the international stage for Saint Lucia.

Harrogate Town have signed Stephen Duke-McKenna (winger) on a two-year deal after his contract expired at QPR. The 23-year-old started off in Everton and Bolton youth system, and joined QPR in 2019.  Duke-McKenna joined  League Two Sutton on loan in January 2024 and went on to play 16 times for them, scoring twice and providing two assists,prior to their relegation back to non-league.  He was part of the Leyton Orient side playing 10 games while on loan, which claimed the league title in 2023. The Guyana international has 18 caps for his country.

Port Vale have signed Ryan Croasdale (midfielder) on a two-year deal after his contract with at Stockport County expired. The 29-year-old began his career coming through the academy at Preston North-End, making one appearance for the Club, whilst having loan spells at non-league Tamworth and Stalybridge. After singing for Kidderminster in 2016, he was named Club Captain in his second year, Croasdale then moved on to AFC Fylde in 2018, for a fee of £50,000. He spent two years at Fylde, making over 50 appearances and helping them to the 2019 National League Play-Off final, and to victory in the FA Trophy at Wembley, scoring in their semi-final victory at Stockport County. Croasdale joins Port Vale following a four-year stay with Stockport which included two promotions, playing 44 League Two games in the title-winning side.

Wimbledon have signed Callum Maycock (midfielder) on a two-year deal after rejecting a new deal at Solihull Moors, where his contract expired. Cheltenham Town have signed Luke Young (midfielder) after being released by Wrexham, no length of contract currently disclosed. The 31-year-old was captain of Wrexham since 2021 and was part of the back-to-back promotions to League One. Young began his career at hometown club Plymouth Argyle, making his first team debut as a 17-year-old. In 2014 he joined at the time National League side Torquay where he was Player of the Year 3 times during his 4 year stay before signing for Wrexham in the 2018–19 season.  Both players link up with newley appointed director of football Gary Johnson, who previously managed both players at Torquay at different periods.

Notts County have signed Alex Bass (goalkeeper) on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Sunderland. Notts County have signed Nick Tsaroulla (wing back) on two-year deal, with the option of a further year, after turning down a contract offer to stay with League One bound Crawley. The 25-year-old who can play on either flank, came through the Tottenham ranks in his youth career including the U-18 and U-23 squads before being released in the summer of 2018. Tsaroulla was snapped up by the Brentford B setup following his release from Spurs. Tsaroulla has also made an appearance for the Cyprus U-21 side. He then joined Crawley in October 2020, and last season Tsaroulla made 49 appearances, scoring six and assisting another six, to help Crawley Town win promotion via the play-offs.

Swindon Town have signed Ryan Delaney (centre back) on a permanent deal from Newport County after his contract expired. The 27-year-old started his career in his hometown of Wexford in Ireland in 2014 at 18, spending three seasons there, Delaney then moved to then-Championship side, Burton Albion. During his time with Burton, Delaney had a loan spell with Cork City, scoring six goals in 30 league appearances, with Cork lifting the League of Ireland Premier Division trophy at the end of the 2017 season, also winning the FAI Cup and the Munster Senior Cup.
