Kick-off moved forward a further 30 mins to 12:30pm. Which is a bit shít.

Kick off being earlier and now on TV probably hits the away following…

Absolutely amazed that Sky haven't gone for Wrexham v Donny*
International week though so wouldn't be surprised to see a few TV games and time/day moves announced.
*Literally, anyone. Like they would care who the opposition was.

Hope we’re not missing Conteh, given Sierra Leone are playing 2 days later

It’s good practice for next season.
And at least it appears the game will be going ahead and not called off for international call ups.
Although after the way Bradford whined and bitched about Crewe calling a match off last season it would have been bizarre if Bradford had called it off after we’ve sold tickets for the match.

I wonder how much we’ll get for that ?
Hopefully we’ll sell out and make a good atmosphere and they might choose us again

Sounds like we will be going off Hurst's interview last week. Thinks we'll be missing him for about 6 matches this season.

When was the last time we were live on Sky? Last one I can think of is Walsall away in 06/07 but could be missing something obvious (like Man U away when I was inside, that sort of thing)?

In the league? The JPT final against MK Dons was on Sky wasn't it?

Ooh yeah good shout, it was.
Which reminded me the JPT game at Leeds in 09/10 was too.

TV money was only £10,000 for away Championship teams last year, so can not see it being very much for League Two.

We would’ve got f all anyway, so £10k would be very welcome I’d say

Need a show of strength at this game and a packed vocal away end sadly I think the TV will knock a few off attending.

Yep, hope we shift the lot but we had 2 regulars drop out as soon as it Sky/KO move was announced.

Yeah i'm considering just firing up the old IPTV for this one now even though it's only down the road and saving money for trips to Wrexham or Swindon (or both) later in the month instead. Just don't have anything like the same level of disposable income I had a few years ago now we're getting bent over by inflation and employers / a government who think it's fine to just consistently cut employee pay in real terms.

I thought shall I watch it on the telly. Then I thought I'll be looking after the kids by 3 o'clock if I do.
The game and then a selection of West Yorkshire's finest pubs for me.

I am well happy with annoucement to watch Town on Sky in my own armchair as its a drive and a half to either Grimsby or Bradford( FYI a hotspot for Norwegian /Scandanian Indian Cuisine lovers as i found out a few years ago).
Sorry I went off a tangent from subject .
Yes glad to see our team featured on telly and get a slot away from the usual premier league suspects. As an Exile i have to pick/plan my games for me Swindon away will be my first.
BUT PLEASE not that grinding voice of Jamie Carragher commentating or pundit!!
Enjoy the Match those that go.

I don't really get that tbh, if people are on the fence financially (which is obviously a valid reason for not going) then they've already got the option of watching it on MarinersTV and the match was already kicking off at 1pm so it's only moved 30 mins. Are people saying they're not going now because they want Sam Parkin's punditry and an extra tenner in their back pocket?

I've run the numbers and reckon there's more chance of me being on co-comms than Jamie Carragher!

Yeah I thought that. Not as bad for me in WY as it’s an hour or so away, but much longer day if you’re leaving GY station at half 6/7 in the morning and not getting back until 6 that night at the earliest.
Plus it’s not exactly a particularly welcoming trip with WYP throwing their weight about.
Still, couple of wins in the run up and we might see a bit more interest.

Yeah the switch to 1pm had already made it a bit of a pain, definitely not denying that.
The policing seems to have one again kicked in another gear all over the shop. Walsall not being allowed to drink anywhere in Wrexham the other week is one of the most ridiculous things I've read about in terms of football policing.

Apparently, a load of their fans caused a lot of bother at the first pub in England thay stopped at.

I think it was at Walsall that Town fans nearly demolished a pub before a game that I was in at the time.
I knew something was amiss when a beer glass went flying across the room closely followed by a chair.

The Bradford ticketing portal is still saying a 13:00 kick off, rather than 12:30. It even says 13:00 on the ticket confirmation.
It’s definitely 12:30.
They’ll be a few angry Bratfordians alhambraing their way into the ground after kick off.
C’mon Town.

As of yesterday 1100 tickets sold and now going on general sale.
TV and the early kick off has clearly had an impact on sales.

Cash flow leading up to Christmas too. Sounds daft but cost of living will mean people start saving earlier, and with it being on TV was always likely to put plenty off.
I hope they just put us all behind the goal…

I bought 4 tickets on general release on Thursday, and they said they were now selling (block by block as they receive them) behind the goal, as the side/corner sold out first. We're in upper G

This is a problem though isn’t it. There was no indication of where your ticket was or choice…I’d prefer to be behind the goal, and no doubt when we get there you’ll be able to choose unless they shut it…and they wonder why issues of seat designation arise…

Conversely I’d prefer to be in the side stand as there’s a bar in there (or at least an outlet selling beer). I’ll swap you if you like…

Choosing the South Stand behind the goal over the East Stand is the equivalent of going to Steels and ordering chicken nuggets. In quick drying pants.

Cook injured as well. He ran us ragged last season.

If they’re unhappy, and can get ahead in the game, we can maybe make it a pretty uncomfortable atmosphere for the Bradford players.

He ran Andy Smith ragged at VP.

They are in meltdown and a good % want Hughes gone , take them into the trenches like we did Gillingham and the crowd may well turn .

Must admit, there's no better time to be playing them.
Reminds me of our away trip to Stockport last season. They had a very slow start and we beat them 3-1 that day. I remember them praising our togetherness, but I think we all knew they'd come good.
If we can do something similar this weekend, and keep a much-fancied team stuck in lower mid-table while boosting our early efforts for a place in the play-offs, then that would be handy!
It'll be nice to get a first away victory in the bag, too.

Ordered my ticket yesterday and it came in the post today. I’m in the Bradford Lifts Stand which I believe is the one that runs down the side (as opposed to that funny little two-tiered thing behind the goal) so presumably they’re still selling them in there.
Looking forward to this one!

We do not. He’s on the bench tonight though, read into that what you wish. Would expect clarity in PH’s post-match interview.

If Hurst can navigate his way through a post-match tonight and a pre-match at the end of the week and pull a smokescreen over this and surprise us with a Conteh start it will be some of his finest work yet.

Do you have to be physically present in the ground to be on the bench or can you be in a plane flying over the Sahara

I’ve looked everywhere for the Sierra Leone squad announcement online and can’t find it, surely they don’t give players less than a weeks notice?
It does strike me as slightly odd that he’s on our bench tonight.

Only for overseas.
My local Sports Bar at Malin Bridge in Sheffield is showing the game as the Sky Sports main event. Having no interest in any other team Sky is not worth it for me and I can stroll to local bars and pubs easily enough.
Worth asking locally.

I have been told that the Kingsway Club are showing it; and as far as I know you don't have to be a member there.
No pun intended.

I have just logged onto Bet365; and they would appear to be live streaming the game.
I have only viewed 1 game on there, but I seem to recall the match was just shown on a quite small box on the right, leaving most of the rest of the page for having live bets.
