Really great to see the four youngsters in the first team squad, but would be interested to hear who 'those in the know' think might be the next one(s) to join them.
Is it likely to be curran/ Buckley who are going down the same loan route as clifton,Wright and rose, or do the youngsters who get a game in the Mickey mouse cup have the advantage? And who's the best of that group?
Finally are there any 15-17 year olds who might be worth keeping an eye on?

The conveyor belt thus far has deemed those out on loan earning their stripes against seniors at a lower level are the ones being immediately groomed for first team action.

I expect Buckley and Curran to be next in line.

Been told he's full off beans, and is never latte for training.

We have a year 11 age lad (under 16s) centre half called Ethan goes to healing school unfortunately I don’t know his second name , he looks a real prospect

Anyone know if Curran and Buckley can/will be recalled/available for either of the remaining EFL Trophy group matches?

They both out on loan till January 2020 and I'd imagine if their foster(?) clubs are happy with the players input and GTFC and the youngsters themselves feel the experience is helping them then those loans will be extended.

What can anyone tell me about Luis Adlard please I must confess I hadn't heard of him (unlike the others) and he isn't getting mentioned like the others either.

I imagine the lad we picked up from West Ham this summer, name escapes me, is one that the club are quite excited about.

By all accounts Starbuck had a nervy start against Scunthorpe in the Trophy game but settled in as the game went on.

It's really encouraging that we're already thinking about the next wave of talent, which bodes well as we move to an ongoing supply into the first team.

Also, if we get a reputation for 'giving youth a chance' the countless lads around the country who are released at 16 who go on to have excellent careers (Bennett) will see Grimsby as a more attractive option.
