Vernam on the wing?

Ring needs an impressive pre-season to convince us all he's a left back.

Is a Hess/Clifton midfield really creative enough?

I really hope that Wright makes a starting-11 place all his own, but I've not seen him play yet, so it's a bit of blind faith there from me.

I think Ring has only to impress MJ that he's a capable FB, not us fans!

Shaping up nice?

We've signed 2 players, good 2 players IMO, but calm down

You forgot about Elliott Whitehouse in midfield. He was going to be our star player last season but was injured preseason. He will be like a new season unless he does a Liam Hearn and injuries himself again!

Even if he is ready for the start of the season, it might be a while before Whitehouse really gets back into the swing of things. Best not to plan around his availability until he is able to prove and develop his fitness and hopefully it will prove to be a pleasing return as opposed to a slightly disappointing one such as we saw with Bolland.

Star player?! Started less games than he was on the bench for in a team that had scraped in to the play offs and he was going to be our star player?

I think EW is a great addition having seen him play for Lincoln.  His injury was a big blow and I would think was the reason Elliott Embleton came in on loan.  We will know during pre season how EW is progressing.  Has he even been involved in competitive training? Or just simple running, some turning and ball work.
