Lose to Colchester away

Completely optimistic but not totally impossible!

On the basis that we don't seem to draw many - I've got us losing at Tranmere, Oldham and Colchester and at home to Bury and drawing at home with Carlisle but winning the rest, giving us 71 points and finishing 8th. Morecambe and County down.

All I worked out is we only need exactly half a point a game now to reach the magical 50 points which should keep us up :)

I have us at 8th. Just two points off playoffs, which is only changing a draw to a win.......you never know. Tuesday will see us slip back some places as seven teams around us are in action and we are not

11th, then I did it again and we finished 6th, then my lad did it and we finished 6th again so split the difference with no science 9th.

If you let the calculator do it’s own thing and don’t put any scores in, it has us finishing 5th.....

If you do it again like I did selecting no teams we finished 10th Newport finished 7th,
Only selecting Towns games we finished 7th but Newport finished 16th,
How did that happen ?

I selected no teams and the Calculator did it all, we finished 18th and Notts County finished 16th ;D

Looking at the past 5 seasons you need about 70/71 points at least to get in the play-offs. To be absolutely sure to end up there you need 75 points. So we need around 30 points from our last 14 games to get there. Impossible - no, but very, very difficult indeed.
But next season.... :-)
In Jolley we trust / Up the Mariners!

The calculator fills in results based partly upon form but there is a large random element build in to mimic real life. So if you run it more than once you may well get different final tables, if you are asking it to forecast games.

Just did the season calculator. Where are we finishing? I say 10th.
Notts and Yeovil down.
Not sure County will go down signed some quality players ,when we played them earlier in the season they were terrible.
Last week they were a totally different side those additions have made a difference . i'd say Yeovil or PV are on a slow burn slide.

Notts are still terrible it’s just that you Imps are beginning to faulter....😂

I come up with Town 11th on 66 points
Morecambe and Notts County down.
That was only predicting Town's results.

With my captain 'glass half empty' hat on, I have us finishing 15th. Given where we were not so long ago, I'd settle for that.
...... and I'm always wrong, so play offs here we come. ;D

I let it do iots own thing and we came 10th. I forecast Town results and we came 10th

Tried to be as un-deluded as possible and I had us finishing 12th on 65 points W7D1L6
Losses to bury Colchester Carlisle understandable
Away to Oldham and tranmere as they’re decent at home
Then losing to Crewe because we always do
Draw was away at Swindon
So we beat
Chelt (H)
Camb (H)
Crawley (A)
Northampton (H)
Stevenage (H)
Morecambe (A)
Notts (A)

Just done it only selecting Town and Lincoln games,
Being as honest as possible we finished 8th,
Surprisingly Lincoln had a bad run and only finished 12th, ;D

If we finished mid-table to 8th I'd be very pleased. Anything above that and I would be absolutely delighted.
The future's bright - the future's Jolley.

Until we lose a couple of games and then you can change your mind and stick the boot in.

If that's a reply to my post then apart from Slade , who I was 100% against his appointment, I haven't " stuck the boot in " any manager.
