Me and the mrs's 10 year old are Driving by car from Somerset. Paid £9.50 to park on someone's drive. Anyone know of any pubs that will have the football on or pool table nearby would like to share, it would be much appreciated.

Driving to Cockfosters and parking in someone's drive.

Underground into Kings Cross then dump bags into Premier Inn.

Overground from London Bridge to CP

Post game will be Uber into the Centre for 🍻🍻🍻

Being towed by a Caiman HP-400T Anaconda hovercraft whilst wearing 80’s style roller boots will be my mode of transport to Selhurst Park.

Which overland station is closest to Selhurst Park and which London station serves it directly, Victoria or London Bridge?

Not much in it between 3 stations, Thornton Heath or Selhurst or Norwood junction.

I THINK the first 2 are served from a Victoria and the last one by London Bridge

Selhurst, Thornton Heath or Norwood Junction, all of which are served by London Victoria mainline station.

Barely a couple of hundred yards in relative proximity from Selhurst Park between Thornton Heath, Selhurst and Norwood Junction stations (all 10-15 minute walk). Believe both serve Thornton Heath but Victoria serves only Selhurst and London Bridge, only Norwood Junction. Don't quote me though.

I'll be driving but seeing the train option makes me shiver so wouldn't choose to do this after a bad experience going there

First time I went to Selhurst Park the train I got on must have been one that got unhooked or something at Clapham Junction

I'd asked which platform to get the train from so I know that was right.... didn't think much of it until suburbia turned in to countryside

I saw the station Epsom and knew that was wrong so had to get off and go back to Clapham to get the right train

Got to the game during half time and all the turnstiles had closed so paid a steward to let me in ( tight git could have let me in )

All turned out well in the end.... we played Palace off the park ( from the half I saw anyway ) and we won 3-0

For anyone not sure of best routes in That London this is a handy site. Will give you all modes of transport (bar driving). If you put in your start and end locations (address or postcode) it will give you the best door-to-door route.

So based in Northampton I’m torn on best method of transport / route

I’m thinking drive as far as Harrow and catch the train to Thornton Heath

or

Drive as close to the ground as I can

or

again drive as far as I can and do the tube into London and then to the ground
