Hall-Johnson in for the injured Hendrie, Welsh back on the bench

Other than that it is the same as against Notts County.

Dour 0-0 it is then?

The last time I was away at Port Vale it took us about 2 hours to find the grond, my car got smashed up and there was a pitch invasion at the end of the game.

Think Pearson has given Wrexham an early lead in their big game.
Poor old Chesterfield 2 down at home v Solihull. How awful for them!,,, the locals are revolting

Macclesfield, under the worlds greatest footballing brain, have gone 1 up against county

Really missing Vernam and his movement off the ball here. We're not getting it down and playing it about on the deck enough. Need to get control of the midfield.

Pretty grim viewing that 45.   Vale just aim for Pope and hope for the knock-downs....we are struggling on the ball...Hess is getting most touches in midfield but lacks the quality to hurt the opposition.
If Pringle and Embleton can get fired up we should be able to turn these over but Thomas more isolated than normal so we are struggling to retain the ball or build momentum

Too many players hiding today. Half the team haven't turned up yet. Some of our passing has been criminally poor and now we can't get out of our own half. Only goalless owing to poor finishing from Vale.

Especially good to continue grinding out the results at this time of the year, especially with the injuries we've started to pick up. Safety the priority and you can't beat having points on the board, especially if half your defenders are out injured.

I listened in online as I'm living down in Folkestone, what a game. Good to see us on the right side of a smash and grab game. I hope Davis and Akheem are OK as this is a busy time and we need as many fit players as possible to get us in the upper echelons of this division.

Looking up :)

Someone posted a clip of wes thomas’ goal on twitter, what a strike, starting to think he might be able to do a liam Hearn!

So pleased weve actually won these crucial games, we might be in the best form in the league now, ready to take on the challenge of a run of tougher games, and weve broken our away duck when we needed to
Posted by: Davec, December 26, 2018, 5:13pm; Reply: 83
Also this good form makes us more attractive to better players in January! I think players would rather join a club who could make a push for the play offs then a club who's in a relegation battle

Usual BD shocks:  Man City,  Norwich (well, saved by 98th min equaliser), Portsmouth and good old Lincoln.

Plaudits to Spurs and Leeds.  Roofe hits 3 injury time winners in 2 games in a week.
