Make the most of it, I'm afraid it might not happen again. Now all I want is for Brazil to screw up as well

I’m saying nothing but will do as long as England win tomorrow. Not wanting to tempt fate etc...

Well those last 2 games took me a long time to mark in the prediction league.

A total of NIL points for all entrants.  :)

Watching a documentary a couple of days ago and the comment made was that a poor German team makes the semi's and a good one wins it, cannot argue with that, if only that could be said about England.

When the Germans beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 in their last game before the World Cup, it was their first win of 2018. The Saudis missed a penalty and had a blatant penalty appeal turned down in injury time.

So, all is not well in the German camp it would seem, and judging by their body language, they look very beatable by any team at the World Cup.

Now I've said it, watch them win it again!

Felt Mexico v Germany had the making of a good game prior to kick off.

Must be frustrating for the Mexican fans though as they seem to qualify most years but have never gone past the quarters

It is irreversible though.Just look at the Spanish national team. Underachievers due to a variety of reasons despite having
decent squads .Luis Aragones comes on the scene in 2004 and changed their mindset to one of a better mental resolve and adapted the team to certain brand of football which  suited them  eg a high technical game "tiki taka" and less on the physical side.Result of this is they go on to win a unprecedented 3 international tournaments on the bounce which was quite remarkable.
