#GTFC XI: McKeown, Fox, Clarke (c), Collins, Mills, Dembele, Rose, Summerfield, McSheffrey, Wilks, Hooper.

Subs: Killip, Hall-Johnson, Woolford, McAllister, Berrett, Clifton, Vernon.

What a terrible team selection.

I don't understand the constant chopping and changing. Let's face it, our squad is crap. So we've got to try and make the total greater than the sum of it's parts and to do that we've got to start building partnerships, particularly at cb and in the middle of the pitch. You could argue that Collins and Clarke have played together a lot but Clarke is complete dogshit so I just don't want him in the team. If Suliman can't dislodge an aging Clarke then why bother having him here?

If there's ever a line up you didn't want to see.......... :)

More sweeping changes. We may just about find a settled side by about the 45th game.

Not even on the bench either, is he injured? But then he wasn't on the bench at Lincoln either  :-/

Does it matter? Whatever side or formation we have chosen for the last 18 games, hasn't been good enough for a win. We clamour for players to come into the side and nothing changes.  :-/

Let's see what this bunch can do.

What is the point in having the young CB lad from Villa on loan, he may as well not be on Villa's bench

Has Suliman done a full weeks training with us? MJ said that is one of his criteria for possible selection.

He could be on the urine in Magaluf for a week and still be better than Clarke.

Suliman's omission the only odd one for me.

Pleased Summerfield is back in. McAllister did quite well at Coventry but clearly only has about 45 mins in him, I suspect we'll see him 2nd half.

Hooper - well, we haven't really looked like scoring in the previous 3 games so let's see if he can do it for Jolley. He probably can't but as Ginny says, he can't do much worse than the other forwards recently.

I don't mind that team. He is chopping and changing a lot, but we had a similar team play week in week out under slade for much of this run, and they still played like strangers. It's a team that looks more attackingly capable then we've seen play in a long whole so let's give it our full backing and hope we get the win.

Might as well play with 10 men and drop Clarke.
McCallister should be starting instead of Rose but I can understand he's probably suffering with a lack of match fitness, same for Cliftons omission, I can only assume 3 full pro games is a step too far having only recently made his debut.
Hooper won't score, he's too lazy to grab a goal unless it drops to his feet 5 yards off the goal line. All the talent in the world won't get you anywhere unless you have the drive to use it.
Can only assume Sulliman isn't fully fit after being away on international duty.

I don’t know how Rose, Hooper or Clarke are anywhere near any line up. But what do I know. It’s not as if we’ve faired better when they haven’t. If we don’t win today I really can’t see us staying up. I just don’t think we’ve got enough in this squad to get over the line.

Me and my Dad agree Tagg. He played well last week sat behind the strikers finding space to drop into.

I just can’t believe how far we have fallen.
