If we dont win on friday then for me its all over even this early on , we need to win this match thing is we havent won for nearly 20 games so i just cant see it.

I think its over i really do.

thankyou russell slade for leaving us with pure excrement and thankyou john fenty for ruining our season for selling our best players and appointing a man you should never have appointed.

Im sat here so depressed and thinking what was he thinking.

Get all the sentiment and all the we must win
But thats emotion taking over
Are we good enough to get results in these 3 upcoming home games?
If the port vale game is anything to go by it could be v v bad
Really thought the law of averages and jolly game 3 might get us something today 😢

Let's be honest, if we cannot win at home against both Barnet and Chesterfield then we do not deserve to stay up and we will realise how crap we have been for the majority of the season. As I have stated some time ago, that first game at Chesterfield fooled us into thinking it could be a good season, now we know how useless Chesterfield are.

See Barnet losing don’t think we need to worry about them
It’s Chesterfield that could do us

Strange as it may seem to say it after a 4-0 defeat but we were better than in recent weeks. After 35 minutes you would be hard pressed to say who was going to win. Even after half time, until the second went in we were still in the game and a point was a possibility.

There were some positives. Wilks a great improvement on the other so called strikers. MacSheffrey is clearly a decent player at this level.  MacAllister was a welcome addition to the midfiled..

But the fact remains that we are very easy to score against. Coventry didn't really have to be very good today to win comfortably. We never looked like scoring. At no point were we incisive in the final third.

The players tried hard, but the truth is that we have too many players that are simply not good enough.

Fortunately there are two other very poor sides below us, and we have the chance to get wins against them. I still think we will stay up if we win those two home games against the teams below us.  But we will need some luck to do it.

I agree. It was miserable by the end but the first 60 mins was far better than the first 60 mins against Port Vale for example.

If we can build on that then the next 3 home games are certainly winnable. It doesn't look good but we're not in the bottom 2 yet, there's still hope.

The Chesterfield and Barnet games are more important

Gaffer 58 has hit the nail on the head. We lose against chesterfield and Barnet then we deserve to go down, no unlucky games, bad referees or injuries to crucial players to blame. We will have simply been one of the worst 2 sides in the division

Every round of games that go by without Barnet and chesterfield winning significantly gives us a better chance of staying up . One win now would probably keep us up .

Doesn’t let our esteemed non chairman off the hook .

FENTY OUT

After today, it's almost a 2 horse race now. Barnet have to make up 7 points in 7 games on us. Tall order for them.
