Please Russ be a man and admit your not up to the job and walk away.
You can then go with at least a bit of credibility for doing the right thing.
Mr Fenty won't fire you because he can never and will never admit he's wrong for even bringing you back.

It's normal and standard for a manager to have a six month break payment break in his contract. Irrelevant of how long his deal is. If we have taken him on, remember he is a manager on his way down and nobody would touch him, without a break payment in his contract then good luck John Fenty as you got away with it last time.

It's alright for Slade, either way, he wins as the screams to go grow louder he knows a compo package will ease the pain.
if he salvages a few wins he keeps a job.
It's obvious Fenty can't afford to pay him off but the alternative may cost him a hell of a lot more by next season we could be non-league with no fans we already have a shambles of a team half of which won't even be here.
Even now if he does go whoever takes over has a hell of a job to keep us up with this outfit.

Contract or no contract, I assume he signed something performance related. The only performance related thing he may have achieved is to purge the Bignot signings, of which at least two were more talented than anything we've got left. I also assume that his performance related clauses didn't include no win in 12, 4 points in 12 games and the complete alienation and disconnect with the fans.
