Looking at our remaining 14 games I can see us picking up 11 points if we are lucky,

So that gives us a total of 47,

Will that be enough to keep us up ?

Probably. Not sure we will get 11 though. We won't win at Crawley, may get a draw at Cambridge. Not thinking beyond those game at the moment.

The crucial week is when we play Chesterfield and Barnet at BP. If we can win those two we might be safe, assuming we have picked up a few points here and there before hand.

What worries me is that the last time we actually won a game was against the bottom team who, reduced to 10 men after 30minutes, completely dominated us for the entire second half.

Since then we have scored 4 times in 11 matches, shipping 18 goals in the process. Simply put, we the worst team in this division based on current form.

I hope that we can muster another 11 points but I wouldn't put much money on it.  We could well do down.

From what I see currently and in the form guide we are going down.

47 points will be plenty, I wouldn't start worrying until very low 40s

Think only FGR gained ground on us today and with every passing game, the task becomes more difficult for the chasing pack.

Not sure I'd be that confident with 47.

Hartlepool went down with 46 points last year, and would in fact have gone with 47, as the third from bottom club, Newport,  had 48 points.

Last season, Newport sacked their manager on the 9th March, with them 11 points adrift at the bottom, and the new manager Flynn managed to save them. He now has a 45% win rate. It's never too late to change things.

A couple of weeks ago you said something like it would be a miracle if we were relegated.

A couple of weeks later and it is starting to become a real possibility. With this form, and these performances anything can happen. We are only in early Feb so I wouldn't rule anything out now.
