I sincerely hope you are way out with the crowd. It's not the checkatwat trophy.   I would hope for around 3000 with 500 - 600 Derby.

Think I will keep predicting a 2-0 defeat.
It seemed to work on Saturday as I got that one completely wrong!

1-0 Town. Sam Jones with an exact replica of Gary Jones' goal at Pride Park in 2005. Town draw and beat Newcastle in round 2 before Tottenham in round 3.

Im going to go 2-1 to town. Depends if they bring their full squad though.

Thought there would be a healthyish crowd of around 5000 for this game and would've been great to see the club reach out and make tickets £10 (£5 oap/kids/students/sth's - for both clubs).

Fancy our chances as reckon Derby will put out a bit so full squad for this.

2-1 - Pearson and disley with ours

5000 attendance, strong Derby team, exciting match two and throw, they being the better side technically, us to win by the odd goal with a gutsy performance.
Vernon and Kelly for us 2-1

Loosely linked to attendance but I'd like to see Town get a Twitter/Facebook account that responds to fans like Derby's @dcfctickets. Our social media platform seems very one way other than Lisa Piggott posting using her personal account on the GTFC fans group on Facebook. This wouldn't cost any money, only a few minutes of someone's time at work a day!

I predict I won't be there because don't want to let me buy tickets!

1. The website will not update my "shopping cart"
2. The club ignore my Facebook posts, Twitter message and aren't picking up on the ticket office phone number.

Does anyone else have this problem with their website? I tried to get a shirt at the end of last season and same problem.

Personally I dont have a problem but I hear this sort of thing from so many different people.

The club hierarchy seem to bury their head in the sand and do little to sort this. Face to face i find the club staff fine, especially the club shop, BUT seems the infrastructure is nowhere near modern standards and I dont accept that is anything to do with the archaic ground.

JF reads this site as do his confidants.

I believe it's extra time then ABBA penalties.

I had a dream
We are waiting the arrival of the visitors Derby County to BP for this evenings game. They should really get a move on or they will not arrive before the 7.45pm KO.One of us should ring and find out the ETA.Finally they arrive and the game is underway. The man in the middle is Trevor Kettle from Rutland. For the first 25 minutes we've been under attack from a strong Derby side but now our boys are starting to fight like true soldiers.Vernon has a cracking shot,Mamma Mia that was close. First half ends 0-0.
Second half's about to begin with Vernon being replaced by Cardwell but there's a problem, the 4th official checking Cardwell's boots tells him he will have to change them as he says, you've a hole in your soul..The second half gets underway with Town playing some good football ,there's an excellent move onthe left side between Dixon and Kelly but the shot is saved by County's keeper.Me and Bobby and Bobby's brother are sat there in disbelief that we aren't winning but no disillusion that we could lose this game. With the clock slowly running down Russ makes a change and replaces Bollie with Dembele, I was thinking I've been waiting for you to come on, He makes an instant impact ,running past 3 defenders and slots an inch perfect pass to Cardwell, who we could hear in the Upper Youngs screaming Gimme Gimme Gimme who then fires a fierce shot past the County Keeper Fernando. In all the excitement one man one woman ran on to the pitch and were swiftly escorted out of the ground.Town hold out and win 1-0 and progress to the next round of the Carabao cup and JF is rubbing his hands, thinking more money, money money. When all is said and done we did deserve the win and I wonder who we might play in the next round. . Grimsby Town My Love My Life. ;)

2/3-0 to Derby. Not bothered about this competition and would rather have a good FA Cup.

I'm going for an optimistic 2-1 win for Town. But, as long as we give them a good game I'll be happy. UTM

Just wondering what their line up may be having goals in their squad with players like Bent and Nugent although i think Bent is maybe currently sidelined ?
Another tight defensive peformance i hope but with the midfielders playing 5-10 yds further forward than they did on Saturday, if you give players at that level free reign from 25 - 30 yds their shots will be in the top corner of the net and not the stands as Chesterfields were on Saturday.

Is it penalties on the night or a replay as i fancy a draw ?

Due to the game being abandoned tonight I will start another prediction thread for the replay   :)
