It just shows how difficult it can be to break down a team who just sit behind the ball....

It was surprising how similar it was to watching GTFC try to break down a defensively-minded team!

Slow movement, lack of intensity, rubbish crossing, rubbish set pieces (but for Rooney's winner), missed chances. Rubbish performance, but at least we got the points.

As Welbeck has been in pretty good form of late, it was incredible to see just how poor he was today. Chambers looks to be joining the long rank of England right-backs who look a liability at times...

No wonder Hurst can not find a striker,

If that is the best we have .

Rooney could easily have had half a dozen goals in the past 2 games. Instead, fluffed easy chances from open play and just the goals from set pieces. It really is like watching Grimsby!  ;)

Frustrates me that we have loads of really quick wingers, Sterling, Ox Chamberlain, Townsend to name 3 and yet we don't play with any... Instead we insist on playing fashionable tippy tappy football.

Chambers looks like a centre back playing at right back, same as Stones, Jones and Smalling. One day we'll play at right back there! (like the one in the squad who's had a great start to the season)
