Was in Boston tonight working so managed to see first half of Boston v Gainsborough.

Gainsborough took lead (Paul Beasley who went on to score a hat-trick) Boston equalized. Gainsborough went on to win 3-1 after I left.

Scott Garner is NOT a center forward, Boston kept hoofing the ball up to him, he won very few headers.

Southall look lively but lost the ball too easily.

Ciaran Toner had a solid game for Gainsborough.

Food very good and a lot cheaper than BP.

100% sure whoever we field we can stop Gainsborough scoring, but will have to be careful as they play tight off the defenders although they were offside frequently.

See you all at Gainsborough......................... Looking forward to the pie and peas.

P.S.  Boston did not play two players who were suspended from last season !

'The Pilgrims will be without the services of suspended trio Stefan Galinski, Kaine Felix and Charley Sanders for the visit of Trinity.

Galinski was sent off against Worcester City on the final day of last season, while Felix will serve a suspension carried over from his St Neots Town days and Sanders will begin a ban incurred during his loan spell at King’s Lynn Town.'

This was from Bostons website.
