Our goal the sky commentator said Pym got no where near it he now gets the blame for the opposition goalkeeping mistakes.

I think it’s worth reading the OP again

Yeah it was a typical George Lloyd goal I had feeling he would score always rated him, Cook went to sleep, and the 2nd was went straight in to the corner and lad who scored was a threat all game on loan from Burnley.

Agree about Pym not being up to it, when my 13 yr old grandson says 'Pym doesn't like coming off his line' says a lot.

However, at one point three shrews players lined up in front of Pym to head a cross, fortunately our man stuck on the line saved it.

Is our goalkeeping coach to blame?

It says he's heard people around him saying it. Kids are rarely insightful, but they are very good at believing the indoctrination spouted towards them. Not that in this case it's particularly wrong.

Town by current standards are a small side with a small keeper so they will struggle to defend corners and free kicks.
Pym has done little wrong this season and his distribution is an asset to the team. But he ain't gonna reach shots in the corners nor dominate his six yard box. Swings and roundabouts.
