Well, shite to be tbh...
Another game where tge opposition keeper could've got his deck chair out...didn't have a save to make, intercourse all this XG bollox, we are woeful in front of goal, set pieces were an embarrassment..
Amaluzor isn't an EFL player, not his fault but he's just not good enough, Cook gets frustrated and I can see why and Green is moles off it right now.
I'm not sure where we go from here, but something really needs to change if we do have any hope of promotion.

We’re trying to play a certain way without having the quality of players to successfully do it, which I think is why we get undone by the more industrious league 2 sides.

To be successful in this league you have to nullify what can be perceived as anti-football or be exceptional at league 2 hoof. Unfortunately we’re neither from the last two games.

Deflated and feel like we’re heading for another false dawn of a season.

Shocking game.
Do we practise set pieces?
Woeful corners.
3 wins from 9 sums us up - sigh.

We are trying to play like an ‘anti football’ side. It’s constant hoofs forward, there’s no football being played through the midfield and no triangles on the wings with sweeney and Roger’s  bombing forward joining green like last season . Shrewsbury played better football than we did today

Garbage really . Probably our worst display in a season and half . Walker , Cook need to hang it up . Hopefully Andrews is back soon . Midfield was a joke today , absolutely woeful . Let’s see how we are next week when geza is back . Might even scrape a nil nil

The game changed from their goal which was diabolical from mcjannet, hanging on and hanging on and hanging on as he was closed down completely, then deciding not playing long like he does usually but playing it short to another player under pressure. From there it was only ever a matter of time until we lost the ball near our own box, a complete failure to mark Lloyd and bang we gift them a goal. That was the turning point.

Mcjannet is a good player and good on the ball but does drop an absolute clanger defensively every 5 or 6 games, usually when facing his own goal, v lucky to get away with the one he did last week against Newport. We've completely shot ourselves in the foot today gifting them that opener.

Management need to wake up cos the last two games it hasn't just been what's on the pitch that has stunk the place out I'm afraid.

Artell set the team up wrong. He didnt make changes and the supposed  strength in depth is NOT there. To have only made 2 changes when you are 2-0 down at home and then still only 2 at 89 minutes shows that too.

Walkers past it, Doyles not ready, midfield was just nothing at all.

Sick to the back teeth of excrement one dimensional teams having it over us. Something Artell seems to cannot fix. 2 games against Newport and Shrewsbury is a shocking return and so is 3 wins from 9

Mcjannet is Miles off as well, where was Maldini!? We missed him, and my god we miss Turi.

They came to do a job and did it and if anyone waffles on about “ missing chances”’today that is simply not true.

The lack of variation in our patterns of play is so frustrating. Long ball to Cook/Green to flick on to Cook/Green, give it to Vernam and hope or curled ball down the right channel to Green. We need to get Cartwright into the team in a CENTRAL area. His guile and poise makes such a difference.
