David Ornstein reporting that Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 of their original 115 charges. Sanctions have not been decided yet. City will obviously appeal which will delay things further.

We all know they cheated but ultimately they’ll keep their trophy collection and not get sanctioned because this will still rumble on and on because when money isn’t an issue your legal team will make sure nothing happens…

They'll get a points deduction in a season when it doesn't matter too much like they finish outside the top few, and avoid relegation.

Points and money are meaningless. Give them a ten year ban from the Champions League and any UEFA competitions, and it will massively degrade their ability to sign top players and make it harder to compete at the top of the Premier League.

Unless it relegates them yes.

Needs to be significant;

- huge points deduction, enough to effectively relegate them
- 5+ year transfer ban
- 10 year ban from UEFA competitions
- huge fine - though I appreciate they basically owned by a nation state so any amount of money wont touch them.

I'd probably go even further and relegate them and advisde the EFL not to accept them so they have to start again in the NL

In reality they'll probably get a small point deduction and fined a curly wurley.

Southampton got thrown out the play-offs for watching a few training sessions
Forest, Leicester and Everton got deductions for far lesser charges.
Rangers got demoted 3 divisions
Juve got relegated

Financial punishment will have zero impact, the sanctions have to be sporting, and severe enough that no other club would dare to try anything like it again.
