I'm sure they've had a chance to look at him and help him build fitness over the last couple of weeks, did 30 minutes in a couple of reserves games to build his match fitness. If there is a deal to be done I'm sure it will become clear soon. It's something the club have been quiet on and probably quite low risk for all parties, he has somewhere to train with coaches he knows and we can assess if he'll fit in our squad.

He's apparently quite versatile as a midfielder and can play in a number of positions, might be looking at somebody who can come in and cover a couple of positions. We may need cover for somebody like Turi who can slot into that role if needed.

I’m guessing we’re taking a longer term view this time round after the non-starter that was Gilsenan.


Edit: Although he’s started plenty of games for Halifax with goals and assists so still not sure what went on there.

Given the way DA spends two hours shouting and gesticulating at anyone within sight for two hours every game day I imagine he may not be every bodies  cup of tea especially if they have in the back of their mind I have been at Barcelona . We will never know

Quite. Can only assume that the likes of Tharme, Vernam, Rodgers, Green, McJannet and Staunton were held at gunpoint when they signed their new deals. Likewise Cook when he returned in the summer.
