Has anyone got any better idea what sparked cotterill losing his rag at the end of the game?
One thing I liked was how our assistant was straight in there, hopefully it might galvanise the team even more they do look a tight bunch already though tbh.

Hard to know whether players have genuine injuries or not these days. You have to assume they are faking it.

He wasn’t faking it, he had cramp, struggled for about 5 mins. My own view is it all started as he was half on/half off pitch when initially went down and rolled back on. Ref stopped game, Shelton walked over and either said or motioned to go off - and in went Cotterill, gesticulating and mouthing off at Shelton. Didn’t stop for about 5 mins. Final whistle it was him at forefront/instigating the melee for trying to carry it on. Absolute whopper.

I really don't think that Shelton should really be blamed for not being Cheltenham's physio. Somewhat unhinged by Cotterill.

It sounds like the assistant is trying to cover for cotterill there, saying he thought our player should be helping Sweeney to his feet. If he had cramp then he wouldn't want helping up and it's not our players place to get involved. More likely they were being devious rolling player back on the pitch to get play stopped but obviously they weren't going to admit that.

The wounded soldier managed to move 4 yards from where he first went down but sadly came up a foot short of making it entirely off the pitch! I wonder why?

He rolled from on the pitch to almost off it, but stopped short deliberately and I imagine that's caused comments that started this. All hypocritical, because we'd have done the same in that situation.

It looked like time wasting initially, but 5 minutes later he was still struggling, so probably a rare occasion of genuine cramp.

For all the match Cotterill looked liked he sniffed something before the game. Mind you with those nostrils he could clear out a small depot!
