An entertaining 1st half, which we dominated with good football, until the penalty. Accy came out the better team after half time and upped their game. We didn't have an answer and made 3 changes, which really didn't improve us.

Auton played well, as did Morgan in the 1st half. What shone out for me was our supporters who never stopped cheering Town on. A safe journey home to all771 of you.

Frustrating, but at least we didn’t lose.

Top drawer for 48 minutes then I wouldn’t say we imploded, but the pen changed the game in their favour.

Still had enough chances to win 3 games or more though.

Biggest positive tonight was Pym getting injured, all evidenced on film, so now we can bring in an emergency loan keeper.

Shot ourselves in the foot with a rash crazy challenge from Turi after being in complete control.

Had chances after that to make it 3-1, and then far too easy for them to score a 2nd and get an undeserved equaliser.

We huffed puffed and missed more gilt edged chances with Cook being the most wasteful, could have had 6 and he got 1.

Incredibly frustrating as its a script we’ve seen before in terms of dominating, not killing the game and then giving opposition a route back into the game.

Still early on in the season but don’t want to be dropping many more points in games like that when it should be a home and hosed 3 points

I watched on the tv too and that was definitely the Accy fans singing, not ours. Never heard a peep out of our fans all night. Can’t blame them - that game was 100% pure GTFC.

Can’t really put my finger on what went wrong there aside from we should’ve been out of sight before the penalty. Given our history at Accrington you just knew that penalty would be huge.

I’m not overly concerned, although it does feel we’re still finding our feet a bit from an attacking perspective. But it certainly was an infuriating game to watch and it’s now turned into a pretty average start for us, with two tough looking games coming up.

Give over Mary Whitehouse. Obviously it’s not good that he’s injured, but unless we’d signed another keeper in the next 50 minutes, we would’ve been left with him & Auton all season.

A bit like a story that I keep seeing again and again and Again tbh

Start well away, dominate and play good football. But squander chance after chance

Opposition pump high balls into the box at every opportunity and eventually get back into the game.

We played really well in patches and it wasn’t a bad performance, in fact it was good in attacking terms.

But they did cause us issues like Saturdays opponents and from overrunning us out wide and exposing our fullbacks to overlaps in particular.

Automatic promotion seasons take 3 points in them games, so let’s hope we learn quick to kill teams off when we dominate. As they will comeback otherwise.

Shelton is a season changer by the way. Absolute box to box baller and seriously strengthens that middle.

Cook knows he must put at least 1 or 2 of those away tonight.
