I watched the game abd for 89 minutes they were by far the better side.

Sorry I got carried away watching the game it was actually a decent game with a great crowd and I always enjoy a Wrexham collapse.

I think that we should take an interest in this game.

Cardiff have just been promoted from Division 1.  A division that we were close to being in this season - and maybe next season.

We should have aspirations for getting into the Championship, as Lincoln have done.

Lincoln were champions. They have a small ground and limited budget.  Didn’t Middlesbrough have 1 player that cost more than lincoln’s entire starting 11?

Back to the game last night. It was live on TV.  Cardiff still had a crowd if 31,500.  This shows what Lincoln (and Town if we ever get there) are competing against.

Wrexham have got there from NL with sustained big investment.

Limited budget is relative. Lost £10 million, didn't they?

I think the days of us being able to compete regularly in the second tier are probably long gone. I'd expect that Lincoln will struggle to avoid the drop and, at best, might become a yo-yo club between the 2nd and 3rd tiers.

The influx of money into the traditional 'big' clubs is continuing. Wednesday might have financial constraints right now due to FFP, but their new owner is a US billionaire. They are going to be pushing for promotion to the PL before too long. Reading have a wealthy new US owner (who previously owned Wycombe), Birmingham have a US billionaire owner. The requirements to even stand still in that division are mind-boggling. If we can establish ourselves as a L1 club who can have flirtations with the Championship and hopefully avoid forays down into L2, we'll be doing well.

Sound lot, the Bluebirds.  They {panto-style} booed Aaron Ramsey for not celebrating his first goal against them so when he scored his second that day, he sheepishly did their Ayatollah goal celebration and they cheered him to the rafters.  Poor Rambo couldn't work out why they were happy that he'd helped batter them on their own pitch, but they just loved seeing one of their own make good.

We battered them at ours in the cup, too, and when the 4th went in they all danced up and down singing "Let's all have a disco, let's all have a disco."

Never met any other fans who didn't seem to mind us battering them.
