For some unknown reason I decided to put talkSport on the radio earlier today while I was driving and remembered how much absolute shite they talk on there.

Just made me think what podcasts are out there nowadays, just in terms of Town or League Two. I know theres the old DN35 one and the View from the Findus one which is decent. Are there any other regular GTFC podcasts?

Also, anyone got any recommendations for League Two podcasts if any exist?  Im not really interested at all in any other division than the one we're in so I wouldnt be arsed about listening to people waffle on about the Champ or League 1.

There's the ' 3 fish ' one for Town stuff aswell .

3 Fish is a good one, in fact 3 are good tbh.

Non-football but The Rest is History is one of my favourite podcasts which is currently doing a great series on the history of the Northern Ireland Troubles.

For political ones, George Osborne and Ed Balls’s “Political Currency” makes you wonder how politicians can all sound so sensible and rational once they’re out of office! One of their recent episodes focused a lot on Grimsby and how to regenerate the area economically, and both Osborne and Balls we’re very on top of the detail on what things had been tried and the industrial history of the area.

3 Fish and DN35 are both enjoyable. 3 Fish tends to be a bit more serious and on topic if you mostly care about them talking town and club/area related topics in a more organised way. DN35 is a bit more of a group of mates talking excrement down the pub and the match is somewhere in all of that. A bit more relaxed and jokey vibe.

I like the two lads who do the Not The Top 20 Pod

Ali and George - Think its George who is clued up on Town as well with his Mrs from the area and he is up here a bit

They do the England Pod as well which is entertaining during Tournaments

Like most things preference is subjective.

My preference by far is VFTF, but each to their own- it is great that fans have a choice to get views and opinions on GTFC

DN35 as mentioned is a more 'general chat' approach but still covering the key issues. Always enjoy this one. In a weird way there's more content when there's more to gripe and moan about.Example being, the episode when Fenty wouldn't quite intercourse off is an excellent one. Unfiltered opinions always make a good listen and the Quizzes/Games are a good laugh. If you weren't aware, Bruce on this pod does the On This GTFC Day accounts too.

View From The Findus has a more planned agenda and smooth News-style flow through but again some excellent opinions and content. One of them guests on Gab Sutton a few times during the season and is always a good non-biased representative for GTFC If you also wanted to put one on for the kids, this is your choice out the three as i've very rarely, if ever, heard them swear and the other two do.

3 Fish on the Shirt is the newest of the three and again, clearly some dedicated fans with a good knowledge of Town. They've tried to niche the areas the other two don't cover so much. More ex-player interviews, one of the podcasters (Rossi) has his own Tik Tok channel if that;'s to your taste, and new feature this year- getting out there on a matchday and asking for passing by fans predictions etc.

What I appreciate about all three is the fact members from all are always on hand to call in to Radio Humberside and provide an unbiased, honest, well rounded view of the games/events going o - which again. represents the club well.

Also, at least two, if not all three have had interviews with either Andrew, Jason, Polly and or David Artell over the years which shows the club are aware of these podcasts and show an open and transparent approach to coming on and taking questions.

So yes, all three Town ones are really strong. I listen to these every week. These plus flicking through the daily sportstalk hour on humberside (bbc sounds) usually gets me through to the following Saturday!
