Agree.  Everyone who knowns him and I don’t say he’s a lovely guy but is he  a great coach ?? Let him go I say and let DA bring in someone. If he’s not getting a say at town as some are suggesting what chance as he got with Lincoln and their ten managers 😀

Funnily enough you’ve both missed the player I’d argue has the highest ceiling of our current crop in Maldini. Doesn’t look or play like a 20-year old.

Only spoken to Shaun briefly, it was immediately clear he is football mad and he is a top bloke. I hope he does go and earns more money, and is then in the shop window to become a championship level manager. He's been superb for us over two spells as a player, should never have been forced out and owes us nothing. Good luck to him whatever happens.

Echo that sentiment, always see him out and about with his other half and the dog. Absolute top guy and a great professional. Loves the club and the town, be a big miss to the club if he does go but I'm sure we'll be able to replace him well. I don't see any truth in Ben Davies getting the no 2 gig however, given he was moved off the coaching staff.

I think BD's role is key and look at what has happened this summer pre-season - he is basically the pathway to the first team top dog, and whilst we are blowing smoke up SPs rectum BDs knowledge and engagement are just as good. that isn't a slight on SP by the way.

Rumour was though, BD was moved to that role as he was seen to be leaking information regarding transfers if I'm not mistaken
